Is the Nat Geo Food Festival wheelchair accessible?

Yes, the Nat Geo Food Festival in London is wheelchair accessible. 

  • The venue reception desks are fitted with DDA-compliant registration points for people in wheelchairs
  • All levels of the venue are accessible via passenger lifts, with low-reach buttons, braille, back mirrors and distress alarms.
  • Every staircase in the BDC has handrails. All publicly-accessible areas of the venue are well-lit. 
Are there any age restrictions for the Nat Geo Food Festival?

From the Organisers:

"Under-18s may be admitted to the show if they’re accompanied by an adult. In accordance with the law, visitors under 18 are not permitted to purchase or sample alcoholic drink products or knives. By extension, under-18s are not allowed to attend sessions in the Wine & Spirits Theatre. It is the responsibility of the accompanying adult to ensure underage visitors are aware of these restrictions and comply for the duration of their visit. 

If you plan to bring a child or infant with you to the event, please make sure you select an infant ticket at checkout. Children and infants go free but due to health and safety in the Business Design Centre, we may not always be able to accommodate pushchairs and buggies at peak hours, and will provide a secure buggy parking area for your visit."
