The recommended route is via the A38 to Marsh Mills (Sainsbury’s) then along the A374 Embankment Road. The route for the Aquarium and Sutton Harbour Car Park (main parking for the Aquarium) is signposted from here.

The walk from Plymouth Train Station takes around half an hour. A lovely walk through the city, you’ll journey passed the university campus and then we’d recommend walking via Plymouth Hoe to the aquarium – the lighthouse is iconic, and you can take in the full view of the harbour and the famous Drake’s Island.
