How to find us

  • By Car: Free parking from 6:30am beside the Showground; arrive early due to busy roads. Avoid the A337 (Cadnam - Lyndhurst). Follow AA signs when close. Routes available from East, West, South & North.
  • By Train: Arrive at Brockenhurst Station and use the regular shuttle bus to the Showground. Isle of Wight visitors can use the free Quayconnect service between Red Funnel (Town Quay) and Southampton Central.
  • By Bus: Use My Journey Hampshire for bus planning. The Bluestar 6 runs hourly from Southampton to Lymington, serving the Showground (not including the shuttle service).
  • By Foot: A 30 - 45 minute walk from Brockenhurst. Avoid main forest roads due to lack of pavements; use recommended safer walking routes.
  • By Bike: Secure cycle parking available near the main entrance. Helmets and equipment can be stored at the Shop & Drop. Use off‑road cycle path Route 257 and bring a bike lock.

Is New Forest and Hampshire County Show accessible?

Yes! The event is extremely accessible.

  • The event is accessible to all wheelchairs and mobility scooters
  • Each toilet block on the showground has a dedicated accessible toilet
  • The Show is dog friendly and many visitors bring their canine companions along. This of course extends to Assistance dogs, who are very welcome on site
  • Off to the side of the Showground is the Woodland picnic site. The Show can be very lively, so this provides a quiet place to relax if you find yourself getting overwhelmed
Can I bring my dog to New Forest and Hampshire County Show?

Yes ­ – although they must be kept on a lead at all times. Dogs are not allowed in the Livestock Tents. They will clearly display a ‘No Dogs Allowed’ sign at the entrance. Please note that all ‘banned breeds’ are not permitted on the showground.

Is there disabled parking at New Forest and Hampshire County Show?

Yes – As you enter New Park please ensure you have your council issued disabled badge visible on the windscreen and you will be directed to the disabled car park.
