Your guide will show you around once you reach the shore, so you can really take in even more of your surroundings, including old bunkhouses left behind by slate miners decades ago. 

Fancy a swim? There are many opportunities to go wild swimming along the way that you'd be missing out if you overlooked. You can even take a dip by jumping from the pontoon that was used for the London 2012 Olympics!
