  • There are five main animal walks that you can go through with Peak Wildlife Park, one of these is the lemur walk. Look out for King Julien as you walk alongside these mischievous Madagascians!
  • Look out for the red-ruffed, black and white-ruffed as well as ring-tailed lemurs as you walk beside these curious creatures.
  • If you’re looking for some flightless fun, then you wouldn’t be out of place on one of Peak’s penguin walks. Waddle on with some Humboldt penguins in their colonies as they eagerly await for some fishy snacks before heading off for a swim in the pool.
  • You can also watch them splash about from an underwater viewing area, which always makes for some great sights when you visit this penguin paradise.
  • The lovable marsupials that are wallabies ended up in the UK wilds under bizarre circumstances in 1940, through being released from a private collection as a wartime measure!
  • Here, you can give a fuss, feed some treats and bounce about with Bennetts wallabies, which is certain to have you leaving with a spring in your step!
  • Another adorable animal you can walk about with in Peak Wildlife Park are the red squirrels
  • Become a part of the project by going on a squirrel walk, as all money goes to the conservation and repopulation of red squirrels. Plus, they’re adorable, so you wouldn’t want to miss these little guys anyway!
