It's a shiny and new family attraction based on the beloved award-winning animated TV series right in the centre of Blackpool. 

Peter Rabbit™: Explore and Play is an interactive, multi-sensory family attraction designed to engage younger children and encourage them to use their skills and abilities to complete challenges located throughout lots of fun themed zones.

Use your rabbit-like skills and complete challenges as a family! Explore the five zones and burrow into an exciting world to see if you've got what it takes to join the Secret Treehouse Club!

The Merlin Blackpool attractions are conveniently located in Blackpool Tower Centre on the Golden Mile promenade, including:

The attractions are only a short walk from each other and are easily accessible by car, train, bus and tram.  

Travel by train

The nearest rail station is Blackpool North Station. Direct trains to Blackpool are provided by Northern Rail.

Blackpool North is located on Talbot Road, approximately 0.8 miles away. It is about a 20-minute walk from the station to the Promenade.

Travel by car or coach

Follow the M55 to the end.

Take the second exit at the Roundabout.

Travel by tram/bus

Take any Promenade tram to the Central Pier stop.

Trams operate from Starr Gate all the way through to Fleetwood along Blackpool Promenade. Operating roughly every 10 – 15 minutes. All trams (excluding Heritage Trams) have level boarding and step-free interiors, with designated pushchair/wheelchair areas to ensure accessibility for all. All except the Heritage trams have both visual & audible announcers to inform passengers of the next stops.

Bus routes 1, 10 and 11 travel closest to the attraction. One of which is located just across the road from the attraction and the other just a 2-minute walk.

  • Disabled parking - disabled bays are available in the remaining areas of Central Car Park, situated along the fence by New Bonny Street, opposite Coral Island, as well as near the entrance at Chapel Street. Disabled badge holders are permitted to use all the bays on Central Car Park, not just the designated disabled bays, with 3 hours free parking

  • Peter Rabbit™: Explore and Play welcomes guide dogs, seeing eye dogs and hearing dogs into the attraction

  • You are more than welcome to bring a buggy or pushchair into the attraction as they are fully accessible. They also have a buggy park located in the admissions area if you wish to leave it there before your visit

Accessibility

Peter Rabbit™: Explore and Play is located on the ground floor with no additional access levels. The majority of our facilities and entertainment are designed to be fully accessible to guests with additional needs. 

For safety reasons, motorised scooters are not permitted within Peter Rabbit™: Explore and Play. We do have wheelchairs available to hire onsite; however, this is limited and subject to availability. To hire a wheelchair please speak to a member of the team on site

Sensory

Quiet Hour
If you prefer your visit to be less crowded and loud, we recommend you visit when the attraction opens early for Autism Friendly quiet hours. Contact the us for more information

Visitors with Epilepsy or Light Sensitivity
Strobe lighting is used in parts of the attraction and can be switched off upon request.

Carers

Peter Rabbit™: Explore and Play offers free entry to carers or essential companions of those with disabilities.

Please remember to add a carer ticket at checkout. 

Please show one of the following items to a member of their Front of House Team on arrival in order to enter with your pre-booked carer ticket: 

  • A certified NHS letter from your doctor or consultant (dated within the last 2 years)
  • A letter or statement from a professional body (e.g. a Nurse or a BUPA Healthcare Advisor)
  • A blue badge along with an additional form of photographic ID
  • A DLA letter
