Plantasia is an entirely-indoor zoo, so it's a perfect day out for rainy days and cold weather 

Plantasia is home to an abundance of mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians, fish and insects that is bound to inspire the imagination. 

Come face to face with the meerkat mob, watch the cheeky marmosets get up to monkey mischief, check out the impressive bite of the chompy caiman crocs and you can even have a chat with a talking macaw! 

Once you've explored the canopies, head below ground to see another wild side to the rainforest. Here, you'll find snakes, scorpions, tarantulas, bearded dragons, piranhas, giant snails, axolotls and a massive Burmese Python named Clyde.

Plantasia is also home to a huge display of plant life from all continents of the world. The tropical indoor climate allows all sorts of exciting and extraordinary plants to flourish. Look out for aloe vera, black pepper, weeping figs, avocado, bird of paradise, coffee beans, bananas, Persian limes and so much more. 

If you're feeling brave, head into the danger zone, where you'll see poisonous plants up close. You can also find out what it feels like to be stuck in a sticky plant and you can even put your head inside a giant Venus fly trap. Don't worry, it won't take a snap out of you, just make sure you snap a selfie instead!
