How to find us

By car: 

You can find Pleasurewood Hills at the following address on your Sat Nav: Pleasurewood Hills, Leisure Way, Lowestoft, NR32 4TZ

Pleasurewood Hills is located between off the A47 between Lowestoft and Great Yarmouth.

  • From Kings Lynn: Follow the A47 towards Norwich/Great Yarmouth then south on the A47 to Lowestoft (journey time approximately 90 minutes)
  • From Norwich: Follow the A47 towards Great Yarmouth onto Lowestoft then follow signposts to Pleasurewood Hills (journey time approximately 40 mins)
  • From Ipswich: Follow A12 to Lowestoft then take A1117 from Carlton Colville to Foxborrow Hill, turn right towards Leisure way and follow signposts to Pleasurewood Hills (journey time approximately 90 minutes)
  • From Cambridge: Follow the A14 to Bury St Edmunds then A143 to Lowestoft, follow signs to Pleasurewood Hills (journey time approximately 1 hour 55 minutes)

Please drive with care when you’re in the area, as there are many walkers and cyclists and the entrance to the park is narrow.

By train:

Pleasurewood Hills is located near to two train stations. Regular trains run from Norwich and Ipswich to Lowestoft and Norwich to Great Yarmouth.

  • Lowestoft Station: This is the nearest station to Pleasurewood Hills at less than three miles away from the park. There is a taxi rank directly outside the station. Travel by car will taxi approximately 11 minutes. Bus options are available with the Coastal Clipper directly from the train station or the X1 from Lowestoft town centre.
  • Great Yarmouth: Located around 10 miles from the park, travel by car or taxi will take approximately 22 minutes. There is a taxi rank directly outside the station. A connecting bus, the Frist Group Coastal Clipper is available and takes around one hour to reach Pleasurewood Hills.

By bus:

Local bus services are available from Lowestoft to Pleasurewood Hills. The X1 bus service runs regularly from Peterborough to Lowestoft via Norwich and Great Yarmouth.

Children under 12 years old must be accompanied by an adult. Any under 12s without adult supervision will be refused entry.

Height restrictions apply for attractions. All rides and attaractions are subject to height restrictions as stipulated by the ride manufacturers.

If you are unsure whether the ride is suitable for you or a member of your party, look out for the height boards near each ride entrance for details of any minimum or maximum restrictions.

Please note a ride operative reserves the right to query and challenge height to ensure the safety of our guests.

Yes, children under 90cm can visit for free, but must still have a ticket. 

If a child has an under 90cm ticket, but are measured on-site to be above 90cm, then they will be declined entry until a ticket is purchased at the gate rate. 

Dogs (except guide and assistance dogs) are not allowed on park. Please note that under no circumstances should dogs be left in vehicles. 

Yes, once in the park and upon leaving, you will be given a handstamp to grant you return entry for the remainder of the day.

Pleasurewood Hills operates paid-for parking. Payments can be made on park or via the RingGo app (additional administration fee applies).

Some vendors and the admission till accepts cash, the rest are card only. 

Pleasurewood Hills hire out mobility scooters, strollers and wheelchairs. Please note they are limited and are on a first come first served basis. The prices for day hire are:

  • Mobility scooters: £25
  • Strollers (Double): £12
  • Strollers (Single): £12
  • Wheelchair: £5

There are lockers available to hire for guests. They are located near the main entrance, payable by card or contactless only. Please note that lockers are subject to availability.

There are presently no designated smoking areas at Pleasurewood Hills.

It is strongly advised that if you are pregnant, you should not go on the rides at Pleasurewood Hills. 

Yes we have a wide assortment of flavours across Pleasurewood Hills to enjoy. There are burger specials at Smokey Joes, chicken dishes at Roosters, authentic Italian thin crust pizzas at Tonys, hot dogs at The Galley and mouth-watering Mexican street food at Amigos.

For a sweet taste, Parrot Ices has a wide range of Cornish ice cream flavours plus donuts, sweet waffles at The Galley and churros from Amigos.
