What your tour & tea includes:
- A Warm Family Welcome: Your adventure begins at Portnellan Farm, Gartocharn, where you’ll be greeted by a member of the Scott‑Park family. Most often, your guide will be David, who has lived his entire life on the farm and knows its stories, history and hills better than anyone
- Guided Walk Through the Farm: You’ll set off on a relaxed walk, learning about the farm’s evolution, its organic practices, and the family’s commitment to sustainability. Along the way, you’ll meet the cows, stroll through the landscape, and capture sweeping panoramic photos of Loch Lomond and the surrounding mountains
- Tea, Home Baking & Conversation: After the walk, the pace slows as you settle into The Tea Shed, added in 2023 to offer guests cosy, sheltered comfort in sun or rain. Here, you’ll enjoy tea or coffee and delicious home baking while chatting with the family. Ask questions about life on a Scottish farm, organic practices, or simply relax and take in the view!

- Stout footwear is necessary: walking boots, rough terrain trainers, or wellies. Unless it’s completely dry underfoot, there will be mud and the grass may be wet
