Enjoy a night at the Prince of Wales Theatre

Make your way towards the theatre, located right in the heart of Leicester Square. There are plenty of places nearby if you're looking for a family-friendly meal out, as well as more intimate pubs so you can start a date night off with a scrumptious meal.

Walk through the streets of London, where you'll feel captivated by the bright lights, and you'll soon find the Prince of Wales theatre. Built in 1884, the grade II listed building boasts crisp and modern finishes but also still oozes character and history.

Feeling thirsty?

Head to the theatre early to enjoy a delicious drink and soak up the atmosphere before the show starts. Enter the box office and head towards one of the two licensed bars. Both serve a wide range of drinks and snacks.

Sip on a glass of champagne as you listen to the other theatregoers around you discuss the upcoming show and share the excitement with each other.

Enter the auditorium and be greeted by the sounds of the orchestra warming up in the pits below the stage. Make your way to your seats, and await the announcement telling you the show is about to begin. As the lights dim, the music starts, and the curtains begin to open, you'll instantly be captivated.

Currently showing an award-winning hit musical

The Book of Mormon has been showing at the Prince of Wales Theatre since 2013, due to it being so popular. Luckily, you can still catch it until January 2022.

A hit musical comedy that has won nine Tony Awards and four Olivier Awards, with great humour and explicit language in abundance, maybe leave the kids at home for this one. The show is so popular, that it broke the record for the most sales in a West End or Broadway show in a day- so it's one not to miss.

Maybe you're revisiting the theatre?

Perhaps you've visited this theatre before? Have you enjoyed such past productions as Let it Be, The Witches of Eastwick, West Side Story, or The Full Monty? Or did you bring the family to enjoy the hit musical, Mamma Mia which was on show at the theatre from 2004 until 2012?

How to get to the theatre

If you're coming by train, head to Charing Cross station. As it's in Central London, there are plenty of buses too.

Arriving by tube? Piccadilly Circus is just a short walk away, as is Leicester Square. Driving? Pull up at Q-Park Leicester Square and take advantage of the Q-Park Theatreland deal to get 50% off your parking.

We're sure you'll want to visit this beautiful theatre again. Maybe you'll be re-booking tickets for the Book of Mormon or trying something new. Whatever you decide, we know every visit will be an enjoyable experience.
