New for 2026, BlackZone plunges guests into a terrifying limbo between life and death. Lost souls roam endlessly through the darkness as visitors attempt to escape a world filled with forgotten memories, sinister entities and supernatural horrors.

Alongside BlackZone, you'll also face The Playzone; Party's Over. Ashley's spirit may have escaped, but the demons remain. Haunted dolls lurk in the shadows, twisted children's songs echo through the darkness and sinister clowns wait for their next victims.

How to find us

By Car:

From Truro: Take the A39 towards Falmouth. At the Treluswell Roundabout, take the first exit onto the A393 towards Penryn. Continue on the A393, then turn right onto Kernick Road. Follow the signs to Blakemere Village, where Raze the Roof is located.

From Falmouth: Head north on the A39 towards Truro. At the Treluswell Roundabout, take the third exit onto the A393 towards Penryn. Turn right onto Kernick Road and follow the signs to Blakemere Village.
By Public Transport:

Train: 

The nearest train station is Penryn, which is on the Truro to Falmouth line. From Penryn station, you can take a short taxi ride to Raze the Roof, which is about 5 minutes away.

Bus: 

There are several bus services that run to Penryn. From the Penryn bus stop, you can either walk or take a taxi to Raze the Roof.

Is Scare Asylum wheelchair accessible?

No. Due to narrow passageways, uneven flooring and confined spaces, the scare mazes at Scare Asylum are not suitable for wheelchair users, visitors using walking frames or crutches. The food and bar area remains accessible.

What age is Scare Asylum suitable for?

Scare Asylum is strictly for visitors aged 14 and over. Children under 14 will not be admitted, even when accompanied by an adult.

Is there food and drink at Scare Asylum?

Yes. Scare Asylum has an on-site bar serving alcoholic and soft drinks, along with sweet and savoury snacks.
