Where do Guided Tours start?

Your guide will meet you at the front door of the castle within the Castle Courtyard. Access to the courtyard is through Grindhus Coffee Shop.

Are children allowed on the tour?

Yes, children are welcome. The tours are recommended for children aged 6 and above.

Can I bring my dog?

Dogs are welcome in the Gardens & Grounds but are not permitted inside Ripley Castle.

Is Ripley Castle accessible?

Part of the tour takes place upstairs and there is no lift due to the castle's Grade I Listed status. Visitors unable to manage the stairs can watch a video presentation instead.

Is parking available at Ripley Castle?

There is ample parking in the main car park as you enter the village or in the small car park by the Tearooms. Please note that parking charges apply, please ensure you pay for your parking at the machines in the car parks. Due to a camera controlled car park, parking charges apply to blue badge holders too.
