The antidote is located on the first floor, can you and your scare squad retrieve it? This live entertainment scare maze features live scare actors and corridors with non-stop twists and turns, with a jump around every corner!
- Dead Ahead Zombie Apocalypse VR Experience: If you manage to escape the asylum with your life, it's time to pick up your weapons and finish off the rest of the zombies in an exhilarating Cornwall VR experience. With each wave of attacks, the zombies get faster and deadlier. Can you handle the pressure and do what it takes to prevent the apocalypse?

How old do I need to be to come to Scare Asylum?
All visitors must be 14 years old and over to attend Scare Asylum. Children under 14 years old will not gain entry to the event.
ID will be required on entry for any visitors who look younger than 21 years old.
When does Scare Asylum close?
Scare Asylum is open until 11:00pm. Last entry is at 10:30pm.
Can I buy food and drink at Scare Asylum?
Yes. There are food concessions on site and The Graveyard Inn serves a choice of alcoholic drinks at the venue. Alcohol can only be purchased at the venue's bar.
If any alcohol purchased from outside the venue is found on a visitor then it will be confiscated for the duration of your visit.
Will the scare actors touch us at Scare Asylum?
A no touch policy is maintained at Scare Asylum, so the actors will not touch you.
Is Scare Asylum wheelchair accessible?
Because of the narrow passageways and the scare maze being on an upper floor, it is not suitable for people who use wheelchairs, frames or crutches.
The food and bar area is wheelchair accessible, as is the VR Arena.
Can I take photos at Scare Asylum?
Photography and video recording is not allowed inside of the Scare Asylum maze or VR centre.
Is Scare Asylum suitable for pregnant women?
This event is not recommended for women who are pregnant.
What footwear should I wear to Scare Asylum?
We recommend wearing a pair of flat and comfortable shoes to Scare Asylum. We strongly advise against wearing high heels to Scare Asylum due to uneven surfaces.
How long is the Scare Asylum experience?
Allow one hour for the maze and VR Arena. Be sure to also allow more time for food and visiting the bar.
