By car:

From the A380, take the A381 to Teignmouth, then take the A379 over the Shaldon Bridge to Shaldon, follow signs to The Ness along Ness Drive.

Car parking is available to the left and right at the bottom of Ness Drive, with the right hand car park in front of the venue. Short and long term parking is available and is operated by the local council. There are no Blue Badge parking bays and both car parks are on a hill.

By train: 

The nearest Railway Station is Teignmouth. From Teignmouth Station you can either walk (approx. 30 minutes), or take a ferry/bus to Shaldon.

Are dogs allowed at Shaldon Zoo?

Dogs are not allowed at Shaldon Zoo, this also includes assistance dogs. 

Is Shaldon Zoo suitable for disabled visitors?

The majority of the zoo is accessible by wheelchair but the site is set on a steep slope, and there are steps in the older part of the zoo.

How long can I stay at Shaldon Zoo?

The tickets are valid all day and you can go around the zoo as many times as you like, including leaving the site and returning later in the same day.
