Is the Hampstead Theatre accessible?

Yes, Hampstead Theatre is designed to be fully accessible. They offer level access to all levels and performance spaces, accessible facilities, and assisted performances throughout the year. 

  • Building Access: Level access to all floors and performance spaces, including the Main House and Hampstead Downstairs.  
  • Lift Access: A lift serves all levels and both performance spaces, with low-level controls, audio announcements, relief controls, and Braille lettering.  
  • Wheelchair Spaces: Flat-level access seats are provided in both the Main House and Hampstead Downstairs.  
  • Assisted Performances: Captioning and audio description are available for specific performances.  
  • Accessible Toilets: Unlocked accessible toilets are located on all levels.  
  • Assistance Animals: Assistance animals are welcome in the Theatre.
