Shropshire Oktoberfest 2026 

Celebrate all things German with a Bavarian bash in Quarry Park. Induldge in over 150 different types of beers and ciders, traditional food such as sausages, pretzels and schnitzel, to ensure a night that's wunderbar for all!

When is Shropshire Oktoberfest?

Friday 4th October, 5pm - 11pm. (Last orders: 9:30pm)

Saturday 5th October, 12pm - 10pm. (Last orders: 9:30pm)

(There will be no re-entry to the festival after 9pm)

What is Shropshire Oktoberfest?

Shropshire Oktoberfest is a two-day event in Shrewsbury Quarry, where we bring together over 180 real ales, lagers and ciders, as well as gin, cocktails and fizz. But that's not all, we have tasty street food to accompany your drinks, and for entertainment, we have a huge live music stage with incredible local bands, Friday night Beer Tasting with Laura Hadland, a silent disco, Carpool Karaoke, and a Comedy Club on Saturday.

Where and when is Shrewsbury Food fest?

The festival takes place in Shrewsbury’s Quarry Park at SY1 1RN in the heart of Shrewsbury.

There is no parking at the festival - entrance is by foot only. There are two entrances - one opposite St Chad’s Church at the top of the park and the other is near the Port Hill Suspension Bridge near to The Boathouse.
