Unfortunately, due to the narrow vessels, the Self-Drive Day Boat is not accessible for wheelchair users due to the boats natural restrictions.
There are plenty of things to do before sailing the seven seas - or cruising the canals!
- Pack Smart: Bring essentials. Whilst the vessel is equipped with facilities, you will still need to bring food and drink to prepare onboard. There is soap, washing up liquid, tea towels, loo rolls and bin bags.
- Lunch: Skipton Boat Trips can prepare a delicious lunch for you, but there is the option to bring your own or dine out at The White Lion in Kildwick!
- Weather: Dress appropriately for the unpredictable British weather. The towpath can be slippery and muddy, so please wear sensible shoes.
- Arriving: Please aim to arrive between 9:30am and 9:45am.
- Booking: Upon arrival, the guest who confirmed the booking must attend the office to fill in mandatory paperwork.
