"Lizzie The Musical" explores the life of Lizzie Borden, who faced accusations of using an axe to murder her father and stepmother in the late summer of 1892 in Fall River, Massachusetts.

The production delves into the intricacies of her psyche and speculates about the possible motives behind her actions, including issues such as a potential loss of inheritance, a history of sexual abuse, oppression, and mental instability.

Lizzie, joined by her elder sister Emma, the maid Bridget, and neighbour Alice, vividly brings to the stage the notorious story, complemented by an all-female band.

"Lizzie The Musical" had its premiere in New York in 2009 at The Living Theatre and made its London debut in 2017 at the Greenwich Theatre before being adapted for a Danish production. This upcoming production will mark the first rendition of the show produced in the UK and the initial UK tour.
