Spinnaker Tower

Approaching the 170-metre Spinnaker Tower, overlooking the stunning settings of Portsmouth Harbour, the Solent, and the South Downs, you’ll feel an instant sense of calm wash over you.

Breathtaking scenery

But don’t worry, you won’t have to climb the 570 steps it takes to reach the top. The high-speed lift will get you there in 30 seconds so you can spend more time gazing out across the harbour.

View Deck One at 100 metres high is where you’ll find the glass Sky Walk floor.

After taking in the panoramic views, test your stamina for heights - jump up and down for an extra thrill as you watch the boats and waves below your feet.

If the Sky Walk isn’t enough to fulfil your adventure needs, try Altitude, a virtual reality experience, balancing your way around the outside of the tower at 90 metres high.

While you’re there, we recommend taking things a sizable step further with the 100-metre abseil.

Enjoy the gorgeous scenery as you descend and maybe even raise some money for charity along the way.

Rest your jittery legs at the bottom

The Waterfront Café is perfect for a hot chocolate as you reflect on the magnificent views and hair-raising abseil adventure. It’s also well worth a browse in the gift shop.

Many of the items, from pirate figurines to body lotions, are locally sourced within the 23-mile view from the Sky Deck.

If you'd prefer to make a day of it, The Clouds café, 105 metres above Portsmouth Harbour, offers peaceful dining with endless breathtaking views.

Take in the far-reaching landscape

We think you'll enjoy a lovely glass of bubbly and a spot of afternoon tea, highly recommended to make your visit extra special.

Then jump back in the lift to hit the Sky Garden for a relax on the deck chairs to round your day off.
