About The Tale of Peter Rabbit and Benjamin Bunny

Join Peter and his mischievous cousin Benjamin as they do the one thing they’ve been strictly told not to do… sneak into Mr McGregor’s garden! What starts as a daring little visit quickly turns into a whirlwind of trouble — nets, cats, close calls and a very grumpy Mr McGregor hot on their fluffy tails!

Will the pesky pair wriggle free? Can Old Mr Bunny save the day? And what will Mr McGregor say when he spots tiny footprints all over his prized flowerbeds?

Packed with charm, humour and heart, Michael Whitmore’s lively adaptation brings these classic tales to life with sparkle and imagination. It’s the perfect excuse for a family day out — just bring the children, a cosy blanket, a tasty picnic and settle in for a magical afternoon of laughter, adventure and storybook fun.

Join Peter and Benjamin for a hop‑tastic family experience you won’t forget!

Are the shows at St Paul's Church outdoors?

Yes, these summer performances are all performed in the gardens

What happens if it rains at St Pauls'?

The Great British summertime is famous for its unpredictable weather! In 99% of chances, the performance will continue come rain or shine. In cases of heavy rain, it may be necessary to halt the performance for a short period. In the unlikely circumstance of extreme weather (including extreme heat), the performance may be postponed until a further date.

Do please dress for the weather accordingly! If possible, try to avoid bringing umbrellas as they can block sight-lines for other audience members. Raincoats and ponchos are just as fetching - St Paul's can provide free ponchos for audience members without any suitable cover!

Can I book specific seats for performances?

Most performances has unreserved seating, and is on a first come, first served basis. Alternatively, if you would prefer to bring your own chair or picnic blanket, please let the Front Of House staff know, and will do the best to seat you.

Is St Pauls Church wheelchair accessible?

Yes! St Paul's Cathedral in London is largely wheelchair accessible, offering step-free access via the south churchyard, lift access to the Crypt and Quire, and accessible toilets.
