Is Stockeld Park wheelchair-accessible?

Yes, most paths are now tarmac. There are also disabled toilets in the main building, Playhive, and at Gretel's cabin in the Enchanted Forest.

What are Stockeld Park's age requirements and supervision policies?

Park supervision guidelines: 

  • All minors (paying and non-paying) under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a responsible adult aged 18 or over at all times. This is not only for the safe-keeping of the park, but also in case of a medical emergency – Stockeld Park is unable to treat anyone under 16 without parental consent.

Playhive supervision guidelines:

  • All children in the Playhive must be accompanied by an adult who also has a Playhive ticket. All play areas are designed for both adults and children to enjoy together.

Skate supervision guidelines:

  • The minimum recommended age for skating is 4 years old, although parents are advised to use their discretion on whether very young children will enjoy the experience. 
  • All children aged 7 and under must be accompanied onto the ice by a responsible adult (18+) in skates.
  • All children aged 8 to 17 must be accompanied in the skating area by a responsible adult (the adult can supervise from the side of the rink).

Easter to summer supervision guidelines: 

  • There are age and height restrictions for the Buccaneer Boats and Go Karts in line with manufacturer’s guidelines.
  • Buccaneer Boats – suitable for heights of 102cm and over. A child between 102cm and 112cm must be accompanied by a responsible adult (aged 18+)
  • Go Karts – minimum age of 5
What should I wear to Stockeld Park?

Please wear clothing suitable for the weather conditions.

It is recommended that you wear long sleeves and clothing that covers the knees, socks and closed-toe shoes for the outdoor adventures in all weather.

In the Playhive, it is recommended to wear the same attire but with thick socks or Stockeld Park playshoes, which can be purchased on arrival. Bare feet are not allowed in the Playhive.

Can I bring a picnic to Stockeld Park?

Yes, there are outdoor seating areas and picnic benches available for anyone who would like to bring a picnic.

Customers are not allowed to consume their own food within Stockeld Park's catering outlets.

Can I pay with cash at Stockeld Park?

No, Stockeld Park is a cashless site. 

Can I bring my dog to Stockeld Park?

No dogs (or other animals) are allowed on site for safety and hygiene reasons. Trained, registered, and fully harnessed, assistance dogs are welcome.
