What's on at the Southampton Summer Feastival?

A street food block party located right on the water's edge, there's so many things to do in Southampton this summer when you visit one of the biggest festivals for foodies on the south coast. 

  • Where is it? In a carpark at Crosshouse Road, Southampton, that has transformed into a foodie paradise for the weekend. 
  • When is it? The festival takes place for just one weekend only, from Friday 6th of June to Sunday the 8th of June 
  • What can I expect? Food trucks galore, chefs serving delicious dishes, guest DJ's, craft beers, cider bars and cocktails, plus wild walkabout circus acts. 
  • Who is it for? Summer Feastival is perfect for families of all ages, as well as being dog-friendly and suitable for kids, with the exception of the adults-only Friday night. 
  • How much is it? You won't need to worry about breaking the bank on your Southampton day out, adult tickets are only £6 and kids under 17 can visit for free!

How to find us

You can find the Summer Feastival at Crosshouse Road, Southampton, SO14 5GZ 

It’s really easy to get to Summer Feastival by public transport or by walking/riding your bike. It’s around a five-minute drive from Southampton City Centre but you are encouraged to walk, use public transport or take a taxi where possible.

It’s between St. Mary’s Stadium and Ocean Village, and is on Crosshouse Road, which is where Endle Street and Canute Road meet, just under Itchen Bridge. 

Go to Woolston Station and walk or get a bus over the Itchen Bridge Buses.

What time is the Summer Festival open?

The Summer Feastival opening times are: 

  • Friday 18:00 - 20:00
  • Saturday 11:00 - 22:00
  • Sunday 11:00 - 22:00
Can I park on site at the Summer Festival?

No, there aren't any customer car parking spots at the Summer Feastival. 

Is the Summer Festival dog-friendly?

Dogs are welcome on all sessions but, at a limited capacity. It is essential to book a free dog pass ticket online and adhere to the following requirements: 

  • Dogs must be kept on a leash at all times
  • Not everyone likes dogs so only well-behaved dogs are welcome 
  • Be sure to pick up after your dog at all times
  • If your dog(s) behaviour is unruly or dangerous to other dogs or customers you may be asked to leave at the discretion of the events team.
  • The organisers, Street Food Circus reserves the right to turn dogs away at any time if it is believed that they are at risk of causing stress, anxiety or danger to themselves, other dogs or people on the day. 
Will the Summer Festival still take place if it's raining?

The Summer Feastival will take place regardless of weather. There are under cover areas pitched under canvas canopies, which are more protected from the weather, but not 100% waterproof. 

Please dress appropriately for the weather that's forecasted on the day. 

Is cash accepted at the Summer Feastival?

Summer Feastival is a cashless event, so it is advised that you bring a card or phone to pay for food at the event. 

The traders are contracted not to take cash, so it is asked that you respect the event's terms and conditions and be ready with your card or mobile. 

Is the Summer Festival family-friendly?

Summer Feastival is a family-friendly event and children are very welcome to all sessions except the adult-only session on Friday evenings. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times. 

Is the Summer Festival wheelchair accessible?

There is an accessible car park very close to the site, advise the car park team on arrival to be directed there. 

Once onsite the ground for the most part, is wheelchair accessible.
