Three unique walks to choose from

Park your car in the layby near the woodland entrance to begin your walk.

The three trails are all waymarked, so it couldn’t be easier to explore. They all include a steep climb, but this is rewarded by the viewpoint at the top - it’s worth it!

Look out for the yellow waymarkers and head off on the one and a quarter-mile long Big Trees Walk. The name gives it away, but magnificent and huge oak, ash, and pine trees guide you along your journey through the woods.

Or follow the almost two-mile Talley Views Walk and climb up along the zigzag path while appreciating the breathtaking views of the Talley Valley.

Still up for something longer? The two-and-a-half-mile-long Cwm yr Efail Walk, offers you the chance to see even more of the woodland and valley.

Treat yourself

All this walking will have made you work up quite an appetite, so be sure to prepare a picnic before you head off on your adventures.

Keep an eye out for the perfect spot to sit down and tuck into those yummy sandwiches and discuss the beauty you’ve seen so far.
