Taste Of The Caribbean Food & Drink Festival is a celebration of different cultures and amazing cuisines.  Aiming to bring together people of all backgrounds, ages, races and religions to enjoy and indulge in some of the most amazing food and drink in the world.​ 

The event consists of multiple street food traders selling hot food, desserts, take home produce, cultural crafts as well as non food products.​ 

Entertainment consists of live music, cooking demonstrations, eating competitions, funfair rides and activities for the children.

How to Find Us

By Car:

Follow signs from the center of Maidstone that will direct you to the park.
The main entrance to Mote Park is situated at the end of Mote Avenue, Maidstone, Kent, ME15 7SU.
There are other entrances on Willington Street in Bearsted and School Lane in Shepway.
Parking is available in three car parks, all with disabled parking spaces. The daily ticket prices are as follows:8 am - 10 am: Free
Up to 6 hours after 10 am: £2
Over 6 hours: £12
All the money raised from parking fees goes back into maintaining the park1.

Train:

Take a train to Maidstone and then use local buses or taxis to reach Mote Park.

Bus:

The nearest bus stop to Mote Park in Maidstone is The Spinney. Bus route 85 stops nearby at 09:332.

Yes! You can bring your four-legged friends - just keep them on a lead at all times!

There are no cash points on the event site, all traders will take card payments but we always advise attendees to bring some cash in case payment systems go down due to poor internet services.

Allergen information will be available from the traders on the day. Please make any allergies known to food traders before purchasing and they will be able to assist you.

The Taste of Caribbean have a huge selection of amazing traders selling delicious cuisines from around the Caribbean, so bringing food & drink on to the site is prohibited.
