A Cornish gem for lovers of animals big and small

As well as birds of prey, the centre is also home to many other rescued birds and animals. So, you'll also get to say hello to pigs, geese, sheep, goats, ponies, emus and even a cow!

Small bags of animal feed are available to purchase if you fancy feeding the larger animals. The centre is open Sundays, Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 11:00am until 4:00pm.

By car:

The Cornish Birds of Prey centre is located on the main A39 at Winnards Perch, between St Columb Major and Wadebridge. Enter the postcode TR9 6DH into your sat nav.

Can I bring a picnic to Cornish Birds of Prey Centre?

Yes, you can bring a picnic. There are picnic benches located near the tearooms and the play area within the centre.

No picnics are to be consumed in the tearooms.

Can I feed the birds and animals at the Cornish Birds of Prey Centre?

We do sell small bags of animal food. This can be used to feed the sheep, goats, ponies, pigs and cow.

The birds of prey and parrots have a very specialised diet so cannot be fed by the public.

Is the Cornish Birds of Prey Centre wheelchair-accessible?

Yes, the centre is accessible. The only area of the park that is not suitable for wheelchairs or scooters is the nature trail, lake and moorland walk. 

Are dogs allowed at the Cornish Birds of Prey Centre?

Dogs are not permitted in the Cornish Birds of Prey Centre. 

What should I wear to the Cornish Birds of Prey Centre?

Dress accordingly to the weather. In rainy weather, wellies are recommended.
