The Lowry - Lyric Theatre
The largest of The Lowry's three performance venues, the Lyric Theatre is a 1,730-seater theatre at the heart of Salford's The Lowry area.
The Lowry is a theatre and gallery complex located in Greater Manchester in Salford Quays, Salford, England. The Off-West End venue gets its name from the famous early 20th-century painter L. S. Lowry, who is perhaps best known for his paintings of industrial scenes in North West England. The complex opened on 28 April 2000 and was later officially opened on 12 October 2000 by Queen Elizabeth II.
