From the award-winning producers of SIX, comes a brand-new show premiering in Manchester's The Lowry!

  • An uplifting musical inspired by the highly improbable true story of Larry Walters and wife Carol Van Deuseun convinced their friends and family to help Larry reach new heights
  • It's the 2nd of July, 1982, and truck driver Larry Walters has a dream to fly sixteen thousand feet above Los Angeles
  • Using a lawn chair and approx 42 helium-filled weather balloons, Larry defies all odds (and FAA airspace regulations!) and makes his dreams a reality... in a chair.
  • Follow Larry's ambitious journey as he questions if the sky is actually the limit - and what happens if it doesn't all go to plan?
  • Features 80s pop-inspired soundtrack to accompany the delightful story
  • Starring Evelyn Hoskins (Waitress, Gypsy, Spring Awakening) and Charlie McCullagh (Bonnie & Clyde, Jesus Christ Superstar) in this incredible new musical
  • Book, music and lyrics written by Jack Godfrey, creator of This is a Love Story (Birmingham Hippodrome) and Babies (Lyric Theatre, West End)
