One day, a journalist meets a man in a ruined Ukrainian village located outside Kyiv.

The man is a security guard, born and raised in Stoyanka. When the alarms are raised, everyone else flees - but he stays. 

As his home turns into no-man's-land, he chooses to take extraordinary action.
