Tours of the UK was founded in 2018 by Henry Fox-Davies, a history enthusiast with academic credentials from the University of Wales, Aberystwyth, and University College London. After graduating in 2008, Henry explored various careers before discovering his true calling in tour guiding.

In late 2018, Henry connected with Dewi Evans, a theatre writer, actor, and occasional tour guide, who was the grandson of a long-time family friend. Dewi brought a theatrical flair and storytelling expertise to the tours Henry envisioned. By 2021, Henry's path led him elsewhere, and Dewi took over as the sole owner of Tours of the UK.

Dewi, with his background as a site-specific theatremaker and lecturer in Culture, History, Heritage, Performance, and Theatre Studies, has infused the tours with an academic yet accessible approach. His storytelling and performance skills ensure that each tour is engaging, informative, and uniquely captivating!
