Tower RIB Blast speedboat experience

Enjoy an invigorating 20 minute Tower RIB Blast from the world famous London location of Tower Millennium Pier. Perfect for those wanting a quick London speedboat fix and fast Adrenaline rush. You’ll enjoy a very short guided commentary, see the sights and feel the twin turbo engines roar in this fast paced round trip bringing you right back to where you started, utterly Exhilarated.

Sights you will see:

  • Tower Of London
  • Tower Bridge
  • City Hall
  • Traitor’s Gate
  • HMS Belfast
  • Canary Wharf

Embarking on your adventure

The Tower RIB Blast starts with a short, slow cruise along the River Thames. The boat navigates at an average of 10knots. There is a speed limit in the central area of the river until Tower Bridge of 12knots; the high-speed can only begin once we pass Tower Bridge!

Your guide will point out some of the sights of interest in your surrounding area. This section will last around 5 minutes.

The team will take onboard pictures with Tower Bridge and the City of London in the background. These pictures will be available to purchase at the kiosk later.

It’s time for High Speed!

After the photo stop at Tower Bridge, the high-speed adventure starts. The 740HP twin V8 engines, will power the vessel up to a maximum of 30 knots (35mph)! The high-speed will last around 15 minutes!

How to Find Us

The nearest train stations to Tower Millennium Pier are Tower Hill and Fenchurch Street Rail. Walk down towards the River Thames, past the western wing of the Tower of London. You will pass the people queueing to buy tickets to enter the Tower. As the riverside walkway called Three Quays Walk begins outside of Pret-A-Manger, you will see the entrance to the pier ahead of you. Please follow the sign to Thames RIB Experience Boarding Point E, which is located on the western end of the pier.

Pregnant passengers & anyone suffering from any medical heart or back complaints unfortunately cannot travel

The team do not take any water on board at most, the chances are that you may experience a little spray from the high speed manoeuvres. But providing the weather is good, you will not get wet at all!

Thames Rib Experiences have a minimum weight restriction of 15KG (2st 4lb Approx). There is no maximum age or weight & life vests are designed to fit all sizes.

There are parking meters in the vicinity of Embankment Pier however spaces are limited / there is a car public park at Tower Hill charges apply.

The team are unable to refund or reschedule seats however tickets are not name allocated and can be passed along to a friend/relative
