Enjoy a stunning performance at Trafalgar Theatre

Head to Whitehall and watch an incredible performance at Trafalgar Theatre. A Grade II listed building, you may have heard it being called by its newer name, Trafalgar Studios.

Until recently, it was split into two separate studios but it's now undergone a multi-million-pound restoration project which merged its original heritage design with a new bar and foyer. Now, Trafalgar Theatre hosts a single auditorium with a bigger stage and increased capacity.

If you’re enjoying a day out exploring the sights of London, the theatre is just a stone's throw away from Trafalgar Square. You'll be able to see the theatre from there, so it couldn’t be easier for you to find.

There are plenty of places for you to take the weight off your feet and enjoy a yummy meal with the family before your night at the theatre too.

The Trafalgar Theatre has been home to lots of unmissable performances from Shakespeare’s Othello to other world-class plays, operas, and musicals and many stars have walked on these boards over the years.

Soak up the atmosphere

Get there early to soak up the atmosphere before the show. As you enter the box office, clutching your tickets in hand, head to the bar and grab yourself a refreshing drink.

Sip a glass of champagne or choose from their range of organic and sustainable wines, craft beers, and spirits. You can take your drink into the auditorium too, so you can enjoy savouring every drop - just ask for it to be transferred into a plastic cup.

The theatre isn’t as big as some London theatres and has a capacity of 630. This allows all audience members to feel immersed in every performance and see and hear every detail, just as if they were sitting in the front row.

There are also new seats, which means you'll be enjoying the show in comfort.

Maybe you fancy something else in the interval? Drinks and snacks will also be on offer, including some scrumptious ice cream.
