What’s On at Tudor World’s Halloween Seance?

Get ready for an intimate and immersive evening of paranormal exploration in one of Britain’s most haunted locations!

The Seance Room:

Gather around the table in Tudor World’s dedicated Seance Room, where centuries of history and ghostly legends linger in the air. With low beams, uneven floors, and candlelit shadows, the setting alone is enough to send shivers down your spine.

Real Medium-Led Seance:

Led by an experienced medium, guests will attempt to communicate with spirits believed to be attached to the building. This is not a theatrical performance - it’s a serious spiritual event designed for those genuinely curious about the paranormal.

Atmosphere & Setting:

Held in a 16th-century property with a long history of hauntings, the Halloween Seance offers a rare chance to explore Tudor World after dark. Expect creaking floorboards, flickering lights, and the eerie silence of a building steeped in ghost stories.

Please Bear in Mind:

  • Wear warm clothing and sturdy footwear - the building is old, dark, and uneven
  • Unruly, disruptive, or drunken behaviour will not be tolerated
  • This is a serious paranormal experience, not a theatrical show

Is Tudor World accessible for disabled visitors?

Due to the great age of this grade 2+ listed property, which has uneven floors, steep steps and stairs, some of the property may be difficult for anyone with reduced mobility to access – in particular the stairs and the cobbled courtyard.

However, access to the ground floor is available, for which ramps have been fitted and the upper floor may be accessed if mobility is not too severe but requires some assistance. Similarly assistance up the cobbles is available.

Guide/Assistance dogs as well as family pets are welcome (free of charge).

Is there parking at Tudor World?

There are a number of long and short-stay car parks throughout the town. There is parking on-road (subject to availability) on Sheep Street itself, which is free after 6pm. There are two Disabled Parking areas at the rear of the building in the service yard behind Wetherspoons.

Can I bring a pram or a pushchair into Tudor World?
