  • Hand washing is essential after animal contact and before eating or drinking.
  • Hand sanitiser may be used as an additional measure but does not replace thorough handwashing with soap and water.
  • Eating and drinking are not permitted in animal areas or play areas.
  • Food, baby bottles and dummies should not be taken into animal areas.
  • Please use designated seating areas for food and drink.
  • Only food and drinks purchased from the Larder or Larder Kitchen may be consumed in the indoor seating areas and pods.
  • Children must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times.
  • Parents and guardians should ensure children do not place hands, toys or fingers in their mouths during or after play.
  • Visitors should remain calm and gentle around animals.
  • Animals should only be fed with approved feed and during permitted feeding sessions.
  • Animals must not be chased, lifted or handled unless instructed by a member of staff.
  • Visitors should avoid close contact with animal faces.
  • Play equipment is used at visitors' own risk.
  • Children should use all play equipment safely and appropriately.
  • Please help keep play areas tidy and report any damage or concerns to a member of staff.
