Is Upside Down House in Cardiff wheelchair accessible?

The ground floor is part-accessible for wheelchairs, guests can access it via a temporary ramp, leading into the inverted experience with plenty of photo opportunities. The attraction itself has 2 floors, separated by a spiral staircase, with no lift or ramp alternative to the second floor.

  • It is recommended that pregnant individuals and those who suffer from severe motion sickness do not take part in the experience.
  • Entry may be denied to anyone who appears dizzy, intoxicated, or under the influence of illegal substances.
  • Opening hours may vary and are subject to change.
  • Queues may be significantly longer during weekends, school holidays, and peak times.
  • Staff do their best to manage queues and assist visitors, though this can be challenging. Visitors are expected to remain respectful at all times, and abusive behaviour will not be tolerated under the venue’s zero‑tolerance policy.
  • Capacity is limited to ensure an enjoyable experience, with no more than 20 people allowed inside at once - 10 per floor. The overall visit lasts approximately 15–20 minutes, and the last entry is permitted 30 minutes before closing.
