The Lakeside Upside Down House makes for a great day out from London and Essex for families. 

This very stylish red wine coloured house is located in the External Amphitheatre, within the main car park to the Lakeside Shopping Centre. A high end interior design allows for some very classy photo opportunities for families of all ages.

You even have the unique opportunity to shop as you explore. All items and furnishings have been installed with a QR code for the convenience to purchase a beautiful bed or gorgeous armchair directly and instantly at the house by using your smartphone. It is the first of its kind!

How does my ticket work?

Once you have purchased your ticket for the Upside Down House, you can visit any time in either during your time slot, depending on the time of the ticket you purchased. The time slots are as follows:

Monday - Saturday:

  • Morning Ticket: 10am - 3pm
  • Afternoon Ticket: 3pm - 8pm

Sunday:

  • Morning Ticket: 11am - 2pm
  • Afternoon Ticket: 2pm - 5pm

Working Hours:

  • Monday - Saturday: 10am - 8pm
  • Sunday: 11am - 5pm
  • Closed on Easter Sunday

Tickets can only be used once for a duration of 20 minutes and you cannot re-enter.
