Perhaps you’ve heard of Burke and Hare, the grisly killers who sold the bodies they “acquired” to a local doctor?

Yet this great city has also seen plenty of triumph. Just look at the legendary celebrations that are held here every year, like the Fringe Festival and the Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo.

To discover all this city has to offer on your own would be nearly impossible, which is why your guide will be invaluable.

For one and a half hours, they’ll tell you all about the stories and characters that built this city, taking you through the iconic old town.

The price of the tour is £12pp. All ages are welcome and kids go free. The duration of the tour is 1.5 hours. The tour begins at 10am every Saturday. The meeting point will be outside The Scottish Whisky Experience. Please note that the first booking always needs to be two people and after that, we open it for one person bookings. Please keep an eye on the website the evening before/the morning of the tour to see if you can book for one person after we have a two person booking.
