This Halloween, Watermouth Castle invites you to Descend Into Darkness, a terrifyingly immersive scare event that will test your courage, your nerves, and your ability to not scream like a banshee.

With live actors, twisted storylines, and five horrifying zones, this is not your average haunted house. It’s a full blown descent into madness, mystery, and monstrous mayhem.

Event details

  • Selected Nights: 17–18 Oct, 24–28 Oct, 30 Oct–1 Nov 2025
  • Duration: 1 hour
  • Not suitable for under 12's or wheelchair users
  • All under 16's must be accompanied by an adult

Highlights of your descent into darkness:

  • Bad Barnyard: Where the pigs are grotesque, the chickens are possessed, and every squeal could be your last. It’s farmyard horror at its finest
  • The Z Factor: An outbreak has unleashed the undead. Can you dodge the infected and escape the zone before becoming zombie chow?
  • Cursed Forest: Ancient spirits stir in the woods. Twisted trees, ghostly whispers, and unseen predators await. You’re not walking through nature, you’re walking through nightmares
  • The Haunted Castle: Cobwebs, cursed animatronics, and a dungeon that’s anything but abandoned. Once the doors close, there’s no turning back
  • Carnival of Clowns: Step right up to the freak show! Feral clowns, rusted rides, and maniacal laughter echo through the fairground. One wrong turn and you’re part of the act!
