Please note: This is a private raft for 2 - 6 people. There will be other rafts on the river during your session.

After a personalised safety briefing, you'll be all set to tackle the rapids.

As you navigate the river, you'll be treated to stunning scenery and exhilarating rapids, including the renowned Serpents Tail and Town Falls in Llangollen. And don't forget to invite your family and friends to cheer you on from the fantastic Riverbanc coffee shop! It's the perfect spot to relax and enjoy the action.

By car:

As you enter Llangollen from the A539, turn left over the bridge onto Castle Street.

Take the first left onto Bridge Street.

Continue for a short distance and you'll find the property on the right-hand side.

By train:

Although direct train services to Llangollen are no longer available, you can use a mix of train and bus travel from various points of travel throughout the UK.

Nearby train stations include:

  • Chirk Station, located five miles away.
  • Berwyn Station, found along the A5 to the right when coming from Llangollen Town. 
  • Glyndyfrdwy Station, located off the A5 road west of Llangollen.
  • Corwen Station, easily accessible from various directions.

You should arrive at the start/arrival time listed on your confirmation email. Whitewater Active run to a strict time schedule and failure to arrive on time will result in your session being cancelled. 

Will Whitewater Active cancel activities due to bad weather?

Sometimes. On the rare occasion where the weather makes it impossible for Whitewater Active to provide your activity within the strict safety guidelines, your activity may be postponed. Whitewater Active keep a very close eye on weather conditions and will notify and update you as soon as possible, prior to your activity.

Can you wear your glasses during Whitewater Active activities?

Whitewater Active strongly recommend not wearing glasses for safety and comfort, but if you think this may cause a problem then feel free to contact Whitewater Active to discuss options.
