  • Wicky's Farmyard

    Wicky can’t wait for you to meet all of his friends at Wicky’s Farmyard! Step into the farmyard and meet the pigs, giant continental rabbits, bunnies, guinea pigs, ducks, chickens, ferrets and barn owls!

  • Meerkat Manor

    Discover the cheeky Meerkats. Excellent little diggers, learn and discover more about the curious little animals within the Meerkat Manor at Wicksteed Park.

  • Wicky Bear & Friends Show

    Family-friendly shows jam-packed with singing, dancing and surprises along the way. Cheer along with  Rudy and Jerry, Cindy and Alakazam and get the chance to meet Wicky Bear! Shows run throughout the day and last for 20 minutes.

Rides and activities at Wicksteed are divided into different zones making it super-easy for you to navigate your way around the park choosing the best activities to suit your family.

Adventure Zone

In the Adventure Zone, you'll find Mini Jets Space Academy. Kids can take control of their brightly-coloured Mini Jet and zip around the Adventure Zone for an immersive ride experience. 

Thrill Zone

In the Thrill Zone, you'll find the park's more high-speed, fast-paced rides. For adrenaline junkies, twist and turn your way around Dinosaur Valley! This thrilling rollercoaster is one of the higher adrenaline rides at the park. Its turns are banked at a steep angle as you whizz along a figure-of-eight pattern through the legs of the mighty brontosaurus, enjoying many twists and turns along your journey. Perfect for those who like a bit of action!

The Thrill Zone is also home to the sweetest ride at Wicksteed, the scrumptious Honey Pot Bears! With loads of twists and turns, the Honey Pot Bears is a variation of the Cups and Saucers and is a well-known favourite for younger children and a real mini thrill ride.

Heritage Zone

The Heritage Zone offers traditional fairground rides like the beautiful Golden Gallopers carousel. So, pick your noble steed and take a gentle ride as far as your imagination allows.

Take a ride around the beautiful natural parkland and the newly redeveloped lakeshore onboard the narrow gauge Wicksteed Park Railway. Since it opened in 1931, over 15 million people have taken to the rails.

Splash Zone

Get wet and wild in the Splash Zone, where you'll find the oldest water chute in Britain and one of the oldest surviving water-based rides in the world! Designed by Charles Wicksteed, The Water Chute has thrilled visitors at Wicksteed Park since 1926.

Then, take out one of the Lake Boats, the perfect opportunity to take in the newly redeveloped lakeside and the wildlife, the fresh air, ducks and swans. As well as rowing boats, pedalos and canoes are available to try. 

It's not all about the rides at Wicksteed. The Park is located on 147 acres of beautiful parklands with lots of space to spread out, relax, and enjoy. So take your foot off the gas and pick a spot under the shade of a tree to read your favourite book or just watch the world go by.
