How to find us

Location: Newstead Abbey, Nottinghamshire, NG15 8GE

  • Please follow directions for Newstead Abbey when travelling to Wonderland Festival.
  • As you approach the event site, switch off your sat nav and follow official event signage. Event stewards will be in place to guide vehicles and pedestrians safely on arrival.

Parking:

  • On‑site event parking is available for Wonderland Festival.
  • A designated parking area is provided within the festival site.
  • Blue Badge holders have access to a dedicated parking area located as close to the festival arena as possible.
  • There are no facilities to leave vehicles on site overnight; all vehicles must be collected once the event ends.

Drop‑Off System:

  • A designated drop‑off and pick‑up system operates within the Newstead Abbey event site, supported by event signage and stewarding.

Nearest Train Station:

  • Mansfield Woodhouse or Newstead Railway Station
  • Distance from Newstead Abbey: Approximately a short onward journey by taxi from either station.

Is Wonderland Festival wheelchair accessible?

The event is on a field with disabled access & disabled facilities.

  • No animals are permitted into the event arena, with the exception of registered guidance & assistance dogs
  • Any form of prescribed medication, or controlled drug will have to be pre-approved and documented for lawful use before attending the event – for more information please email [email protected]. Unless this is clearly evidenced to the events team, this will not be allowed to be brought into the event.
Are there any age restrictions for Wonderland Festival?

Wonderland Festival is suitable for 18+ only.

  • The team operate a Challenge-25 policy on Entry and at all Bars
  • Please bring ID.
Is there food and drink at Wonderland Festival?

There will be fully stocked bars selling all your favourite alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. The bars will be accepting both cash and card payments.

  • Please do not bring your own food or alcohol into the festival.

What can you bring to Wonderland Festival?

You can bring a small bag, which will be searched upon entry (small bags are classed as no larger than 35cm x 40cm x 19cm).

  • Large bags are not allowed into the event.
  • Small umbrellas are permitted.
  • You can’t bring flags or banners. Laser Pens are also not permitted.
  • Animals or pets are not permitted at the event; with the exception of registered assistance dogs.
  • You may bring suncream with you in a plastic bottle.
  • Glass Bottles / Aerosols are Banned. Roll On Deodorant is fine.

  • Camping chairs and deckchairs are NOT permitted into the Festival. Blankets, loungers, inflatable seating, gazebos, tables and other structures are also NOT permitted.

Can you leave and re-enter Wonderland Festival?

There are no pass-outs at Wonderland Festival, meaning you cannot leave and re-enter the site once you have entered for the first time. Please ensure you have everything you need with you.
