Is Woodshrop Festival wheelchair accessible?

There are paths all around the Showground and ramps into all buildings. There are disabled toilets and showers located at the end of the Berwick Building. These can be accessed using a RADAR key. 

Is there parking on-site at Woodshrop Festival?

Yes, free parking is available. Please be aware that vehicles are left at your own risk and the organiser will not be liable for any loss or damage caused or sustained to, by or in respect of any vehicles or it's contents. 

Can I bring my own food and drink to Woodshrop Festival?

Enjoy a variety of food and drinks from the onsite vendors, or guests may bring their own food to the festival. Dedicated picnic areas are available for families to relax and enjoy their meals. A strict no‑glass policy is in place across the entire site.

  • Drink Responsibly: Adults are reminded to drink responsibly, and Challenge 25 will be in operation. The festival also enforces a zero‑tolerance policy on drugs.
  • Alcohol Policy: Only alcohol purchased from the onsite bars is permitted within the arena area. Guests are asked not to bring cans or bottles, and no glass is allowed anywhere on site.
  • No Glass Allowed: No glass of any kind is permitted on‑site. Attendees are asked to support the festival by adhering to all licensing rules and regulations.
  • Re‑useable Cups: All bars will serve drinks in reusable cups to help minimise waste and promote sustainability.
  • Washing Stations: Reusable cups can be cleaned at designated washing stations.
  • Arena Policy: Branded reusable cups that have been purchased are the property of the guest and may be taken out of the arena. Standard reusable cups supplied by the bar remain the property of the bar and must not be removed from the arena area.
  • Woodshrop Souvenir Cups: Exclusive Woodshrop souvenir reusable cups are available for purchase at the bar and merchandise tent for £3 each. These cups can be refilled throughout the festival and may be taken freely in and out of the arena, as they belong to the guest. Designed as stacking cups, they make it easier to carry multiple drinks. These cups also serve as memorable keepsakes, adding to the festival experience.

Are essential companion tickets available for Woodshrop 26?

Yes, Essential Companion tickets are available for Woodshrop Festival. Please read the terms and conditions below before purchasing.

  • Eligibility: Essential Companion Tickets are available to customers who need assistance to access the event safely and comfortably. Accepted forms of evidence include Disability Living Allowance (DLA), Personal Independence Payment (PIP), a CredAbility/Access Card displaying the +1 symbol, a recent GP letter or care package, or a Blue Badge.
  • Ticket Conditions: The Essential Companion Ticket is offered at a 50% discount when the designated code is used. Only one Essential Companion Ticket can be issued per eligible customer. The Companion must be aged 16 or over and capable of providing support throughout the event. They must remain with the customer for the duration of the event.
  • Booking Process: The discount code must be applied when booking the Companion ticket. Tickets must be booked in advance, as Companion tickets cannot be added on the day of the event. Both the main ticket and the Companion ticket must be purchased within the same booking.
  • Usage & Verification: Upon entry, both the customer and the Companion must present their tickets together. Proof of eligibility may be requested on arrival. Any misuse—such as resale or attempting to use the ticket without the eligible customer—may result in refusal of entry.
  • Data Protection: All personal information and supporting documentation provided will be stored securely and used solely for verifying eligibility for an Essential Companion Ticket. They comply with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018. Documentation will not be shared with third parties and will be deleted once verification is complete, unless required by law.

Tickets are issued on behalf of JOS Events Ltd and are subject to the following terms and conditions, as well as any additional rules displayed on the event premises. By purchasing or possessing a ticket, the ticket holder agrees to the conditions outlined below.

General Entry Terms:

  • Tickets are issued subject to the rules and regulations set by the site owners, operators, and event management.
  • Every individual entering the event site must hold a valid ticket, in accordance with licensing requirements.
  • Ticket holders are responsible for checking their tickets prior to arrival, as errors cannot be corrected on the day.
  • JOS Events Ltd reserves the right to refuse entry or remove any person causing damage, behaving harmfully, or breaching the stated conditions.
  • All attendees and their belongings may be subject to search upon entry. Refusal to comply may result in denial of admission.
  • Refunds are only provided in the event of a full event cancellation.
  • Lost or damaged tickets or wristbands will not be reissued.
  • Full Festival ticket holders will receive a wristband, which allows re‑entry to the site.
  • Tickets must not be used for resale, competitions, or promotions without prior written consent. Misuse may result in refusal of entry.
  • Entry is at the ticket holder’s own risk. JOS Events Ltd accepts no responsibility for personal injury, loss, or damage to property or vehicles.
  • Ticket holders consent to the use of their image in event media, including filming by security or police for safety purposes.
  • Professional photography or recording equipment is prohibited without written permission from JOS Events Ltd.
  • JOS Events Ltd reserves the right to change or cancel any advertised acts or attractions.

Adverse Weather Conditions

  • Events are held outdoors and will continue in most weather conditions, including rain.
  • In cases of severe or dangerous weather—such as high winds or thunderstorms—JOS Events Ltd may delay, pause, or modify the schedule to ensure safety for attendees, crew, and performers.
  • Tickets are non‑refundable due to weather‑related disruptions. Attendees are strongly advised to prepare for changing conditions and consider purchasing refund protection.
  • In the unlikely event of festival cancellation due to extreme weather, communication will be issued through official channels with further instructions.

Liability & Behaviour

  • Neither JOS Events Ltd nor the venue is responsible for lost or stolen items.
  • Under‑18s must be accompanied by a responsible adult aged 18 or over. Unaccompanied minors are not permitted.
  • The event takes place outdoors; attendees should dress appropriately.
  • Strobe lighting may be used throughout the event.
  • Well‑behaved dogs on leads are welcome.
  • Unauthorised trading is prohibited.
  • Illegal substances are strictly banned; possession may result in prosecution.
  • Prolonged exposure to loud music may cause hearing damage.
  • Anti‑social or dangerous behaviour will result in immediate removal without refund.
  • Smoking is not permitted in enclosed spaces or in the mosh pit.
  • Children remain the responsibility of their accompanying adult and must be supervised at all times.
  • Medical services are provided by an external contractor, and JOS Events Ltd is not responsible for their operation.
  • Holding a ticket indicates acceptance of all terms and a commitment to abide by them. Breaches may result in ticket cancellation without refund.

Alcohol, Glass & Prohibited Items

  • Glass bottles are not allowed on site.
  • Alcohol may only be brought into camping areas by Full Festival ticket holders. Day ticket holders may not bring alcohol into the event.
  • Alcohol sales operate under a strict 18+ policy following Challenge 25 guidelines. Valid forms of ID include passports, driving licences, and PASS‑approved cards.
  • Gas BBQs, open fires, and unsecured gas cylinders are prohibited. Disposable BBQs may only be used in designated areas and may be confiscated if used irresponsibly.
  • Prohibited items include, but are not limited to: fireworks, generators, glass containers, smoke canisters, Chinese lanterns, laser pens, offensive or illegal items, and anything deemed a potential weapon. Entry may be refused if such items are found.
