Rather than picking up your golf club and ball and cracking on, first, you'll stand at the top of Europe's steepest cable railway shaft to fix on your helmets. 

Once geared up, you and your family and friends will be lead into a cosy cable car to begin your descent into the underground. This is such a fantastic way to begin your experience - you can really imagine what it was like to have worked in these underground mines all those years ago. 

The descent takes a few minutes as you journey deeper and deeper down into the cavern. Notice how quickly it gets dark! In the summer, the cavern is lovely and cool, and in the winter it actually tends to be warmer than the world above making Zip World's Underground Golf a great all-year and rainy day attraction.

Descent complete, make your way through the beautifully-lit caverns (minding your heads as you go!), to the world's first underground golf course. It's time to play!

• There are 18 industrial-themed holes
• Take approximately 1.5 hours to complete
• You'll be 500ft below ground
• The golf course has 4 levels
• Average temperature 7 degrees Celsius

• 17 years and below require a participating adult
• Suitable footwear (boots or trainers)
• Suitable clothing to stay warm
• Certain level of walking ability required. You will need to be able to get in and out of the cable cars, and walk your way through the course, up and down the four levels
