Walk upon the forest floor, cracking branches underfoot as the whispering trees and insects chirruping around you help to relax you and clear your mind.

As you pass under the forest canopy, you'll be able to breathe in the smell of the earth and hear the squirrels chattering in the honeyed light of an afternoon.

The floral scent from the blossoming flowers at your feet will surround you as you navigate your way around.

Stroll through the forest with the underbrush on both sides, feeling the fresh air against your skin while you enjoy the views across the Purbeck Hills.

The quietness in the forest calms the soul and gives the luxury of solitude with only the trees for company. Can you hear them whispering to you as you gaze across the beautiful heathland?

If it's dark, we'd advise adding a bit of fun (and keeping yourself safe!) by putting a glow stick around your ankle or waist so you can be seen by cyclists and anyone riding horses.

Feel the light breeze as you find a shady tree, rolling out the cotton blanket and opening up your wicker picnic basket. Pull out all your tasty treats to enjoy and get stuck into some delicious sandwiches and a nice hot cup of tea.

You'll love spending time with your kids as you watch them explore or play a game of 'I Spy'. There are so many things to see, we think you could be here for a while!

If you're feeling brave enough, why not go barefoot and really get back to nature? Close your eyes and take a deep breath in to loosen any stress or worry. Just remember to pack a towel in the car to wipe your feet off with later!
