Alongside entry to the theme park and its incredible rides and attractions, you'll enjoy a selection of family-friendly Scarefest experiences designed to bring all the fun of Halloween without the intense scares.

  • Includes entry to Alton Towers Theme Park until 9pm
  • Enjoy access to both Spooks attractions; Amigos in the Afterlife and Trick O'Treat Town
  • Experience both spooks with no time slots! Please allow 60 minutes to complete both experiences.

This ticket includes access to Alton Towers Theme Park plus the family-friendly Scarefest attractions and entertainment taking place throughout the event.

  • Amigos in the Afterlife: Step through a mysterious portal into the afterlife and complete challenges as friendly spirits help guide your journey home.
  • Trick O' Treat Town: Travel through a town where every day is Halloween and enjoy a magical trick-or-treat adventure packed with surprises.
  • CBeebies Land Monster Ball: Dance, sing and celebrate Halloween with favourite CBeebies characters during this live family show.
  • The Alton Ancestors: Watch the famous Ancestors return for lively performances and their iconic dance routines around the resort.
  • Freaky Friends: Visit the Courtyard arena for live performances, character meet-and-greets and themed entertainment.
  • Please Note: Attractions must be completed within the attractions opening hours. Please allow approximately 60 minutes to complete both attractions. Family Duo attractions are open between 12pm and 5pm , except the following dates when opening hours are between 11am and 5pm: 26th September, 3rd October, 10th October, 17th October, 24th to 31st October.

How to find us

By car:

Alton Towers Resort is located between the M1 and the M6 motorways in Staffordshire, England.

Depending on your direction, the nearest motorway exits are:

  • M1 Northbound – Junction 23a
  • M1 Southbound – Junction 28
  • M6 Northbound – Junction 15
  • M6 Southbound – Junction 16

Please drive carefully in the area, as roads can be narrow, and there are pedestrians, cyclists, and horse riders.

Some Sat-Nav systems may take you down a local farm track, so follow road signs for the last few miles.

By train:

  • Uttoxeter Train Station is the nearest station to Alton Towers (10 miles away).
  • Stoke-on-Trent Station (15 miles away) and Derby Train Station (25 miles away) are also options.

From these stations, you can take a taxi or bus to the resort.

By bus:

  • D&G Bus operates the X41 service from Stafford, Uttoxeter, and Alton Towers Resort.
  • Notts & Derby buses run the X52 service between Nottingham, Derby, and Alton Towers.
