Step back in time and immerse yourself in the rich history of the Avon Valley Railway. Originally opened in 1869 by the Midland Railway, this line served as a vital connection between Birmingham and the South Coast. It later became an integral part of the iconic Somerset & Dorset Railway, weaving through picturesque landscapes and bustling towns!

Fast forward to today, and you'll find three miles of meticulously re-laid track, beautifully restored locomotives, and carriages that harken back to a bygone era. As you journey along the Avon Valley, the nostalgic sound of steam engines chugging along the tracks fills the air, transporting you to a time when rail travel was the epitome of adventure and romance!
