What is Canterbury Bowling?

  • Canterbury Bowling is a four-lane bowling alley with a centre Café/Bar located near Canterbury East Station. Ideal for team-building, hens & stags, Christmas parties, corporate events and more!

What do I need to bring with me?

  • So long as everyone is wearing closed toe shows nothing else should be required to play. Barriers and Ramps are available on a first come, first served basis.

What time do I need to arrive?

  • Please arrive 15 minutes before your party/booking is due to start and ask your guests to arrive at this time too. This will give you time to get settled and to familiarise yourselves with the facilities before the game begins. The briefing will start at your party start time, any latecomers will be able to join the game but may have to wait to be briefed.
  • If you are attending a birthday party please arrive 15 minutes before your party start time. For all other bookings please arrive at least 10 minutes before your start time. Games will start at the dedicated time. If you arrive late you may have to wait for the next available slot.
  • Refunds cannot be given for missed games.

How long is a game?

  • A standard game lasts around 10 Minutes per player with a standard 10 frame game cycle.

Can I bring my own food and drink?

  • Food and drinks from outside Canterbury Leisure are not permitted, with the exception of birthday cakes. 

Can I watch a game without taking part?

  • Though spectators are not allowed onto the lanes themselves, they are allowed to make use of the Café/Bar seating area.
