Cogges Manor Farm will be buzzing with things to do this summer! Alongside the incredible adventure playground, you can meet the animals, play in the sandpit, bounce on the hopscotch area and ride on mini tractors!
The team will also be holding more craft sessions than ever, with a mix of led and self-led workshops. Sessions will include making pom pom sheep, natural art and leaf printing, model mushrooms, peg people, fairy houses, flower crowns and more!
There will also be a number of guest entertainers across the summer with dedicated activity days for children. Enjoy a brand-new hunt around the Manor House and see if you can find the knitted mice and bumblebees!
There’s lots of outside fun too with den building, meadow nature trails, hire an explore pack from the welcome desk and become a nature detective and to top it off, Cogges will be welcoming 3 new baby pygmy goats to the farmyard family!

- Animals: Meet the resident characters of Cogges; from mischievous goats that are all named after Downtown Abbey characters, famous Cotswold sheep from the heart of Witney's woollen trade town, playful pigs that love public interaction and free-roaming heritage ducks, chickens and turkeys! Find them snoozing in their beds or front-and-centre in the animal pens.
- Manor House: Experience 1000 years of history as you step inside the 19th-Century gothic porch! Each room depicts a specific time in the history of Cogges tracing its past through its inhabitants.
- Yew Tree Farm: Lending itself as the perfect filming location for TV, Downtown Abbey fans will be delighted to discover the home of the Drewe family, where Lady Edith's child is brought up, later becoming home to Mr Mason.
- Gardens, Grounds & Trails: Enjoy some fresh air and explore 17-acres of grounds and trails as you discover the Walled Garden, which produces vegetables, herbs and fruit, including Espalier apple and quince trees.
- Adventure Play: Younger explorers can have fun climbing the adventure play fort, built where the original house once stood. Featuring a zip wire and multiple purpose-built obstacles and outdoor play equipment to treat the little ones to a wild time.
- Cogges Kitchen Café: Located in the old milking parlour, the Kitchen Cafe is a beautifully rustic eatery, providing breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, cake and so much more. Open daily from 9am, no farm ticket required. Please check 'More Info' below for a brief menu.
