What is Elf: The Musical about?

Based on Will Ferrell's beloved Christmas comedy film, Elf (2003), Elf: The Musical sees the heartwarming and hilarious story adapted into a breathtaking musical.

The story follows Buddy the Elf (Steven Serlin) on his journey from the North Pole to New York City in search of his real dad (Barry Bloxham) while attempting to win the heart of Jovie (Charlotte Dalton).

Supersized into a live arena spectacle, the production features a massive stage featuring film backdrops on a huge LED screen, plus a mobile stage that travels the auditorium, giving everyone a close-up view of the action. Be ready for Santa's flying sleigh, an audience snowball fight, an indoor snowstorm, a giant candy cane, aerial cirque stars and even more surprises in an immersive theatre experience for the family!

With the book written by Bob Martin & Thomas Meehan (Annie, The Producers, Hairspray), music by Matt Sklar and Chad Beguelin (The Wedding Singer, The Prom) and direction and production by Jon Conway (Peter Pan: Christmas in Neverland, Laurel & Chaplin: The Feud), this West End and Broadway-made musical is now making it's way across the UK to thrill a new audience!

Elf is the perfect family show for children of any age. The incredible show-stopping moment when you see Santa’s sleigh flying in the arena is certain to spark your Christmas cheer, and will create lasting memories of the magic of Christmas.

Children under 3 do not need their own ticket if they will be sat on a lap. However, if they will be sat on a seat, then they will need their own ticket to see Elf.

The runtime of the show is two hours plus a twenty-minute interval.

In the arenas there will be pre-show entertainment starting up to one hour before the show is due to start, so make sure to arrive with plenty of time to get warmed up into the Christmas spirit!
