Mountain Goat Tours offer a hotel pick-up service for those staying in Windermere, Bowness and Ambleside areas.
For the High Adventure Day Trip:
- Oxenholme Train Station: Meet at the ticket office for your scheduled departure time.
- Transport
- Parking nearby
- Food and drink
- Yes, the tours are wheelchair accessible with the options of waiting nearby the minibus.
- The tours include 50-100 metres to any viewpoint but do not include strenuous walks.
- There are three large steps onto the minibuses.
Please note: The minibuses are only able to accommodate foldable wheelchairs and walkers. Unfortunately, there are no lifts for motorised wheelchairs so passengers are required to walk three steps to board the minibus.
Unfortunately, children under five years old are not allowed on scheduled tours.
Lunch is not included in the tour price, but full day tours stop halfway for lunch at local cafes and pubs.
Assistance dogs are permitted onto scheduled tours, and dogs are allowed onto private hires, tours and experiences.
