How to find us
By car:
Due to the rural location of Go Ape Delamere Forest, it is recommended that you do not use Sat-NAV or GPS systems to locate the course, however if you feel it will aid your journey, head for "Delamere Railway Station" on Station Road - the B5152. Go Ape will be signposted from here and is only a few minutes away.
Follow the main forest road toward the Visitors Centre and drive through the barriers on the left into the main forest car park. Once parked, follow the signs out of the carpark. Turn right up the road. Then at the bridge turn left over the railway bridge and down towards the cabin.
By train:
Go Ape Delamere Forest is only a five-minute walk away from Delamere Railway Station.
Once you have arrived at the station, take an immediate right into the forest following the path and you will see the Go Ape shelter and cabin on the right hand side in the forest.

Go Ape Delamare Forest suggests that you wear something you don’t mind getting grubby. Dress for the weather so bring along a mac if it’s raining!
You need to make sure you have the correct footwear with closed toe and heel (with flat soles), no sandals or slip-off shoes.
Your stomach area will need to be covered and long hair must be tied back.
Go Ape is an excellent wet weather activity! The course remains open in all weathers, except when it is icy, stormy, in high winds or during lightning. Rain makes the course muddier than usual – which all adds to the fun! Don’t forget to dress for the weather.
Sometimes, unfortunately, course may need to be closed for reasons beyond Go Ape's control, if this happens you will be given a full refund.
Minimum age: 10 years
